THE EXPERIENCE
Wineglass Bay was named, the story goes, for the colour of its water — but the curve of the shoreline does the rest. Consistently ranked among the world's ten most beautiful beaches, the bay is reached by a 45-minute climb to a granite saddle that frames the view perfectly. The day is built around that climb, with a coastal route through Freycinet that adds a lighthouse, a hidden beach, and a working fishing town for context.

Swansea

A 90-minute drive up the east coast lands you in this small seaside town for a coffee stop. Working fishing boats, oyster leases offshore, and views back across to Freycinet's pink granite peaks.
Freycinet National Park Entry

The visitor centre and a brief orientation before the main walks begin. Toilets, trail maps, and last-chance hydration.
Honeymoon Bay
蜜月湾
A small, sheltered cove with white sand and water so clear it looks pixelated. A popular morning swim spot in summer; year-round one of the best photograph locations in the park.
Wineglass Bay Lookout
酒杯湾观景台
A 1.5-hour return walk up a granite saddle to one of the most photographed views in Australia. Steep in places but well-formed; the descent option to the beach itself adds another 2 hours.
Cape Tourville Lighthouse
图尔维尔角灯塔
A short, paved circuit walk around an active lighthouse with sweeping views of the Tasman Sea, the Hazards range, and on clear days, Schouten Island to the south.
